You should have recieved an email from Judy O'Donnell with the attachment of the Legislator Gala Invitation. Please download and send a personal invitation to your Legislators today!
You can read below a message from Special Event Chair Cindy Lignelli. Next week we will send an update on speakers and our grassroots boot camp of workshops. As we implement our plans for the 60th year of the FFRW and prepare for the midterm elections, unity and participation from all of the clubs is vital. Every member will benefit from the annual conference.
If you have not already done so, please register right away and make your hotel reservations as our room block has already been expanded once and is filling up.
Below is a small glimpse of the 2010 programs that have been developed by your hard working committee chairs. All committees will be signing up new members at the meeting. Please let us know how we can help you find one that utilizes your special talents.

Exciting Membership Promotion!2010 FFRW New Member Contest

2010 is going to be a fabulous year for all our clubs to grow and as an added incentive we are announcing the 2010 FFRW New Member Contest.
The contest runs from January 1, 2010 through November 30, 2010.
The club with the highest percentage of new members (meaning anyone who joins who was not a member in 2009) will be awarded $500 and the second runner up club would receive $250.
When the club treasurer submits her report to the FFRW Treasurer, Suzie Loving, the new member's names should be marked with an N.
Clubs wishing copies of their 2009 members, should email Suzie Loving, and she will forward a list of their 2009 members.
A quarterly report will be compiled to notify each club of their standing in the contest in relation to other clubs. The first report will be made at Tally Days.
Obviously, any new clubs or returning clubs in 2010 will not be eligible but we will have other programs designed especially for them!
There will be a Membership Workshop at Tally Days with lots of ideas for acquiring new members along with open discussion time to share ideas.

Ready for the White Elephant Sale?

The FFRW White Elephant Sale - will be the largest simultaneous estate sale in the history of Florida and certainly the GOP - You can create cash flow for the club - Sign up new members
We will multi-task by: attracting new members, doing voter switch, promoting our candidates, creating a campaign rally atmosphere and uniting the clubs to form a statewide signature fund raising event.
Every club should have:
- Appointed a Committee
- Contacted their Legislators and City Officials to ask them to donate merchandise to our sale in their county
- Reached out to their candidates and let them know that this should be a campaign stop on that day and that we also would appreciate their donations
- Created county Facebooks about the event and also reached out to women via their current web site and individuals Facebooks
- Made plans to make it a voter registration at the event!
